Andrew Hartley brings 16 years of local government experience to the City of Frankfort. For six years, he worked as the Staff Attorney at the Department for Local Government in the Governor's Office, advising cities and counties on legal, financial, and policy issues. Andrew next spent ten years at the City of Georgetown, where he held the positions of City Attorney and Mayor's Chief of Staff, and he served four years as the city's first Chief Administrative Officer. In 2017, Andrew was chosen by the Kentucky League of Cities as co-recipient of the City Employee of the Year Award in recognition of his policy and project achievements. Andrew is a strong believer in the power of data to guide important decisions and inform policy recommendations.
